🛠 You will:
Cultivate a positive and engaging online community atmosphere across various platforms.
- Respond to player comments, feedback, and concerns in a timely manner.
- Organize and host community events online (streams, AMAs) and offline (launch parties, conventions).
Work closely with the development and QA teams to relay community feedback and insights.
- Facilitate beta testing campaigns and compile feedback for review.
Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to create engaging content, including blog posts, videos, and social media updates.
Reporting & Analysis:
Provide regular reports on community sentiment, feedback, and engagement metrics.
- Monitor and analyze competitors' community management strategies.
Discord Architecture & Management:
Oversee and optimize the Dimensionals Discord server structure, ensuring channels, categories, and roles align with community needs and growth strategies.
- Manage and regularly review permissions, roles, and integrations to facilitate smooth community interactions and maintain server security.
- Implement and manage bots, webhooks, and other third-party tools to enhance server functionality and user experience.
eSports & Event Management:
If applicable, organize and promote in-game tournaments and events.
- Collaborate with external eSports organizers for potential partnerships.
Ensure consistent post-launch communication with the player base.
- Collaborate with the development team on post-launch updates and announcements.
Previous experience as a Community Manager:
5 years as a community manager, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior position. Experience pre and post-game launched.
Gaming Industry Experience:
At least 3 years of experience managing communities for notable games or franchises, specifically in the gaming industry.
Content Creation and Strategy:
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing content strategies tailored to community growth and engagement.
Availability for Core Hours:
Availability to work during EST business hours regardless.
Extensive experience managing communities on platforms like Discord, Reddit, and other relevant community platforms.
Proficiency in using analytics tools to derive insights from community metrics.
Collaboration & Leadership:
Cross-functional collaboration: Demonstrable experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams like development, marketing, and customer support.
Experience in leading or mentoring junior community managers or moderators.
Fully Remote: We’re fully remote and offer flexible hours.
